DISAGREEMENT! Tsitsipas, Kyrgios clashes over coaching

There was an interesting spat between Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios regarding on-court coaching

Kyrgios Tsitsipas

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios are on great terms, but this doesn’t mean they agree on everything.

Stefanos posted a tweet calling to legalize on-court coaching. This concept is rather controversial. Some agree with having on-court coaching to allow also the viewers to receive valuable insights. Some others believe that it may create an unfair advantage for the players who can afford “better coaches.”

Kyrgios’ opinion

Some people also have the opinion that tennis players need to find the solution by themselves. This is also what Nick Kyrgios thinks about tennis and this was his reply to Stefanos’ tweet.

“I usually don’t mind his ideas, but this one is terrible,” Kyrgios said. “I’ll get you a coach, don’t worry about that,” replied Stefanos.

“@stefanostsitsipas98 seemed to have done fine without one against you my guy, but the beauty of tennis is to go out there alone!!! Some people choose not to have a coach, some people can’t afford a coach. On the tennis court it’s a level playing field. I think it’s the beauty of the sport.”
