Novak Djokovic has finally managed to equal the incredible record already obtained by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal of 20 slams.
The Serbian sensation won his 20th major after defeating Matteo Berrettini in the Wimbledon final. Soon after the match, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal were quick to congratulate Novak Djokovic for his success.
Roger Federer
Federer posted the following message on Twitter:
“Congrats Novak on your 20th major. I’m proud to have the opportunity to play in a special era of tennis champions. Wonderful performance, well done!”
DJokovic replied:
“Likewise, Roger. Thank you very much for your kind words!”
Rafael Nadal
Similarly to Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal wrote on Twitter:
“Congrats @DjokerNole on this amazing achievement. 20 Grand Slam titles is huge and it is amazing that we are 3 players tied on this. Well done and, again, congrats to you and your team for this!”
Djokovic replied:
“Gracias Rafa! Definitely amazing for us 3. See you soon!”
Novak Djokovic in 2021
Now ranked no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 11th of July when he defeated world no.8 Matteo Berrettini 6-7(4) 6-4 6-4 6-3 in the final of Wimbledon to win his 85th career title.
At the moment, during this season Novak has a 34-3 match record. Djokovic clinched 4 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade, at the French Open and in Wimbledon. Djokovic got to the final in Rome.
Roger Federer in 2021
Now the world no.9, Roger played his last match on the 7th of July when he was overcome by world no.11 Hubert Hurkacz 6-3 7-6(4) 6-0
in the quarter of the Wimbledon (draw).Presently, during this year the Swiss owns a compiled 9-4 match record.
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer clashed against each other 50 times. Their current head to head is 27-23 for Djokovic. Previously, the last time they competed against each other, Novak Djokovic won 7-6(1) 6-4 6-3 in the semifinal in Melbourne (Australian Open) in January 2020.

Rafael Nadal in 2021
Now ranked no.3, Nadal played his last match on the 11th of June when he surrendered to world no.1 Novak Djokovic 3-6 6-3 7-6(4) 6-2 in the semifinal of the French Open (draw).
At present, during this year Rafael has a 23-4 match record. The Spaniard has won 2 titles in 2021 in Barcelona and in Rome.
