Novak Djokovic has just clinched his 20th major equalling the record of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Roger Federer was quick in congratulating Novak for his incredible achievement.

After a while also Nadal congratulated his rival with the following message:

“Congrats @DjokerNole on this amazing achievement. 20 Grand Slam titles is huge and it is amazing that we are 3 players tied on this. Well done and, again, congrats to you and your team for this! @Wimbledon

At the moment ranked no.3, Rafael played his last match on the 11th of June when he surrendered to world no.1 Novak Djokovic 3-6 6-3 7-6(4) 6-2 in the semifinal of the French Open (draw).

This year the Spaniard achieved an overall 23-4 match record. Rafael clinched 2 titles in 2021 in Barcelona and in Rome.

Now ranked no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 11th of July when he beat world no.9 Matteo Berrettini 6-7(4) 6-4 6-4 6-3 in the final of the Wimbledon to win his 84th

career title.

This season Djokovic has an overall 34-3 win-loss record. Djokovic clinched 4 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade, at the French Open and in Wimbledon. Novak was the runner-up in Rome.
