Rafael Nadal gives a nice surprise to his fans after announcing that he will play ATP 500 that the will be stage 2 in Washington from the 2nd of August.
Rafa will join an already strong field with the likes of Denis Shapovalov, Hubert Hurkacz and Jannik Sinner. The tournament was not staged in 2020 because of the global pandemic. The defending champion is Nick Kyrgios who defeated Daniil Medvedev in the 2019 final.
