This exciting Wimbledon edition is coming to an end and there are some interesting movements in the live rankings. While Novak Djokovic is more and more the leader, Matteo Berrettini, Denis Shapovalov and Hubert Hurkacz are steadily improving their live rankings.
LIVE RANKINGS
After conquering the Wimbledon semi-final, Matteo Berrettini overtakes Roger Federer in the live rankings to become the new world number 8 and match his career-high record. Matteo now has 5008 “live” points and he can even become the world number 7 if he wins Wimbledon. In that case, he would have 6288 vs. Rublev’s 6255.
Denis Shapovalov gained 2 places in the live rankings to be the new world number 10. He can go one step further if he wins Wimbledon. In that case, he would have 4905 points that will be enough to snatch the world number 9 from Roger Federer, who has 4215 “live” points.
Hubert Hurkacz is now at his new high rank. The surprising Pole is the new world number 11 in the live rankings. If he reaches the final and Shapovalov loses his semi-final against Novak Djokovic, Hubert will be the new world no.10. Hurkacz can become no.9 if he conquers Wimbledon.

Currently the world no.9, the Italian has a composed 31-6 match record in 2021. Matteo is now having a run in Wimbledon where he bested Guido Pella 6-4 3-6 6-4 6-0, Botic Van De Zandschulp 6-3 6-4 7-64, Aljaz Bedene 6-4 6-4 6-4, Ilya Ivashka 6-4 6-3 6-1 and Felix Auger Aliassime 6-3 5-7 7-5 6-3.
Matteo Berrettini will fight against the world no.18 Hubert Hurkacz in the semifinal. Their actual record is 1-1.

Ranked world no.8, the Swiss played his last match on the 7th of July when he was defeated by world no.18 Hubert Hurkacz 6-3 7-6(4) 6-0 in the quarter of the Wimbledon (draw).
Until now, during this year the Swiss has an overall 9-4 record.
Matteo Berrettini and Roger Federer clashed against each other just twice. Their head to head is 2-0 for Federer. Previously, the last time when they competed against each other, Roger Federer won 7-6(2) 6-3 in the round robin in London (Nitto ATP Finals) in November 2019.

Ranked no.12, Denis has achieved a 22-13 win-loss record in 2021. Shapovalov is now playing in Wimbledon where he bested Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-4 4-6 6-3 5-7 6-4, Pablo Andujar w/o, Andy Murray 6-4 6-2 6-2, Roberto Bautista Agut 6-1 6-3 7-5 and Karen Khachanov 6-4 3-6 5-7 6-1 6-4.
Denis Shapovalov will compete against the world no.1 Novak Djokovic in the semifinal. Their head to head is 6-0 for Djokovic.
Denis reached the final in Geneva (Gonet Geneva Open).
Hurkacz in Wimbledon, ranking, and results in 2021
Currently ranked no.18, the Pole has a 20-11 match record in 2021. Hubert is currently playing in Wimbledon where he defeated Lorenzo Musetti 6-4 7-65 6-1, Marcos Giron 6-3 6-2 6-4, Alexander Bublik 6-3 6-4 6-2, Daniil Medvedev 2-6 7-62 3-6 6-3 6-3 and Roger Federer 6-3 7-64 6-0.
