Stefanos Tsitsipas is regrouping after enduring a couple of tough and disappointing losses in the last 2 slams. The Greek sensation lost the French Open final after he was leading Novak Djokovic by 2 sets. Then Stefanos decided not to play any warm-up tournament on grass. That decision didn’t look to be the best since he lost in the Wimbledon 1st round in straight sets to Frances Tiafoe when it was pretty clear that he wasn’t comfortable on grass.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is now in the south of France, where he has been training at the Patrick Mouratoglou Academy on clay. He will play in the upcoming ATP500 in Hamburg next week. The tournament will be staged on clay-court.

The world number 4 posted a lovely picture on Instagram of him spending some time in lavender fields. This was Tsitsipas’s message:

“There in no wi-fi in the lavender fields but I promise you will find a better connection.”

Currently, during this season Tsitsipas has managed to achieve a composed 39-10 record. Tsitsipas clinched 2 titles in 2021 in Monte-Carlo and in Lyon. Stefanos was the runner-up in Acapulco, in Barcelona and at the French Open.
