Naomi Osaka is getting ready for the upcoming Olympic Games after a couple of challenging months. The Japanese sensation decided not to compete in Wimbledon after retiring from the French Open for mental health issues.

Nevertheless, the world number 2 could not skip the imminent Olympic Games in Tokyo, where she will be one of the most followed athletes.

Ranked no.2, Osaka played her last match on the 30th of May when she overcame world no.63 Patricia Maria Tig 6-4 7-6(4)

in the 1st round of the French Open (draw).

Naomi Osaka may lose her work number 2 rank at the hands of Aryna Sabalenka if the Belarusian wins her next match in The Wimbledon semi-final.

At the moment, during this season Naomi has a composed 14-3 win-loss record. Naomi clinched 1 title at the Australian Open.
