Sebastian Korda will have a special day on Monday when he faces Karen Khachanov in the fourth round of Wimbledon. The American sensation will also turn 21 on the same day.

It’s a great moment for Korda’s family. Sebastian has just reached the fourth round at the Championships a few days after his sister Nelly won a PGA title in golf and became the new world number 1.

Sebastian Korda is coming from an incredibly successful family that has achieved a lot in sports. Besides his and Nelly’s recent success, Sebastian’s father Petr was an Australian Open champion and his mother Regina used to be ranked as high as 26 in the WTA Tour. Sebastian’s other sister Jessica is also an accomplished golf player.

Currently the world no.50 (career-high), Sebastian has achieved a compiled 26-11 record in 2021. Sebastian is playing in Wimbledon where he defeated Alex De Minaur 6-3 6-4 6-75 7-65, Antoine Hoang 7-5 6-4 6-4 and Daniel Evans 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4.

Sebastian Korda will face the world no.29 Karen Khachanov in the 4th round on Monday at 11:00 am on Court 18. They have never competed against each other as of now in top competitions.

The American clinched 2 titles in 2021 in the Quimper Challenger and in Parma. Korda was the runner-up in Delray Beach (Delray Beach Open).

Currently the world no.29, Khachanov has managed to achieve a composed 19-14 win-loss record in 2021. The Russian is now competing in Wimbledon where he defeated Mackenzie Mcdonald 3-6 6-3 6-4 7-63, Egor Gerasimov 6-1 7-63 6-3 and Frances Tiafoe 6-3 6-4 6-4.
