Sebastian Korda’s father, Petr, is an Australian Open champion. His mother, Regina, used to be ranked as high as 26. In addition, his sisters Nelly and Jessica are golf champions. Nelly has recently won a PGA master to become the new world no.1.
His father and Dean Goldfine coach Sebastian. Soon after beating Daniel Evans, Sebastian expressed his gratitude for his coach and all the people around him to comment:
“I just stayed calm in the biggest moments as much as I could. I tried to stay relaxed and keep playing attacking tennis. That’s what I do. I’m really proud of myself for that today.
A big achievement. A year ago, I was 220 in the world, and I’m here in the fourth round at Wimbledon. It’s incredible. I have my family to thank, my coaches and everybody around me.”

Ranked no.50 (career-high), Korda owns an overall 26-11 record in 2021. The American is currently having a run in Wimbledon where he defeated Alex De Minaur 6-3 6-4 6-75 7-65, Antoine Hoang 7-5 6-4 6-4 and Daniel Evans 6-3 3-6 6-3 6-4.
Sebastian Korda will come up against the world no.29 Karen Khachanov in the 4th round. In the past, they have never competed against each other till now in top tournaments.
Korda conquered 2 titles in 2021 in the Quimper Challenger and in Parma. The American got to the final in Delray Beach (Delray Beach Open).
