Alexander Zverev is finally finding the solution to have deep runs at majors to have better chances to win his first slam finally.
Sascha has been through a couple of brutal years. Zverev changed 3 “celebrity coaches.” After parting ways on horrible terms with Juan Carlos Ferrero and Ivan Lendl, his offer to be coached was rejected by David Ferrer.
Also, Sascha was accused of domestic violence by former girlfriend Olya Sharypova, and he became a father after he split with his now-former girlfriend, Brenda Patea.
Furthermore, he split from Roger Federer’s management Agency Team 8.
Zverev coached by his father
Sascha Zverev decided to go back to his origin and be coached only by his father. Recently, the German stressed that there is no need for him to have a celebrity coach in the team who has already won a major. Zverev can conquer his maiden slam just like Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
During a recent press conference, Sascha commented: “It’s not true that you must be coached by former Grand Slam winners to win a Major. Just look at Roger, Rafa and Novak.”
In Wimbledon, Alexander Zverev will take on the world no.68 Tennys Sandgren in the 2nd round on Thursday at 11:00 am on Court 2. Their current record is 1-0 for Zverev.
