Sebastian Korda is part of a quite remarkable family. His father Petr is an Australian Open champion (1998), and he was also the finalist at the Roland Garros in 1992. Also, Sebastian has 2 sisters, Jessica and Nelly, who are having great success in professional golf. Nelly has recently won the PGA Championship, and she is the new world no.1.
Following his first-round victory in Wimbledon, the young American revealed that he was inspired by the huge success of his sister Nelly.
“Seeing Nelly obtain what she achieved, and the way emotional she was, and the way a lot exhausting work and keenness she places into it each single day, it’s tremendously inspiring.
Hopefully, I can preserve taking part in some good tennis and keep a bit longer right here,” said Sebastian.
Sebastian Korda will compete against the world no.156 Antoine Hoang in the 2nd round on Wednesday at 6:00 pm on Court 6. They have never played each other up to now on the main tour.

Korda in Wimbledon, ranking, and results in 2021
