Family and beginning
Jack Draper is 1.92cm tall (or 6′3) and he was born on 22 December 2001 in Sutton. His father is Roger Draper who is the former chief executive of Sport England (2003-2006), and the Lawn Tennis Association (2006-2013).
Jack had an uncharacteristic beginning of his career. He played for the first time in the main draw of an ATP tournament in Miami 2021 after he received a wildcard. However, he had to withdraw after collapsing on the court for an illness.
Later Jack impressed with a good run at the prestigious Queen’s Club where he reached the quarters.
Jack is left-haded and he is coached by Ryan Jones.
