Jannik Sinner is currently in Wimbledon where he is about to start his campaign. The young Italian definitely picked the best possible “sparring” partner to fine-tune his preparation: the great Novak Djokovic!
Jannik and Novak enjoy a great relationship also thanks to the fact that Sinner’s coach Riccardo Piatti used to mentor Novak in his early days.

Ranked world no.23, Jannik played his last match on the 14th of June when he was defeated by world no.250 Jack Draper 7-6(6) 7-6(2) in the 1st round in London (draw).
Until now, during this year Jannik has a 24-12 match record. This year, The Italian won 1 tournament in Melbourne. The Italian reached the final in Miami.
Novak Djokovic in 2021
Ranked no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 13th of June when he defeated world no.4 Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7(6) 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-4 in the final of the French Open to win his 84th career title.
Presently, during this year Novak has achieved a composed 27-3 win-loss record. Djokovic clinched 3 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade and at the French Open. Novak was the runner-up in Rome.
Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic fought against each other only on 1 occasion. Their current record is 1-0 for Djokovic. When they played, Novak Djokovic won 6-4 6-2 in the 2nd round in Monte-Carlo (Monte) on the 14th of April 2021.
