ATP Rankings: Federer up to no.6. Dimitrov at career high. Baghdatis almost out of top100

Last week we had 3 tournaments in the ATP circuit that caused some changes.

Federer

Roger didn’t play, but since Berdych didn’t play in Stockholm (he was the defending champion), the Czech lost 250 points. So Roger managed to get back to the 6th rank.

Dimitrov

Baby Federer had an exceptional week to win his maiden tournament in Stockholm and reach a career high 22rank.  The Bulgarian will go for more. He definitely deserves to be in the higher part of the top20 players… close to the top 10.

Wawrinka

Stanislas also managed to take advantage of a not so good week from Tsonga to be now ranked world no.8 and try to close up to his compatriot Roger Federer.

Biggest Gainer: Kukushkin

Coming straight from the qualifications, MIkhail had an amazing week to reach the final in Moscow and lose when he was just 2 games away (and 1 break up) from the title.  By the way, besides the disappointment of losing the final, Kukushkin might be happy as he gained 35 spots to be now ranked world no. 35

Bigger Loser: Baghdatis

Marcus is not having a great year to have a horrible 15-24 win loss record. Losing in the first round in Moscow meant for him to lose 22 places and being ranked world no.97.   He lost all these positions as last year he reached the final in Stockholm.
