That prompted a strong reaction from all the Slams that threatened to suspend Naomi.

There were doubts about the participation of Naomi Osaka at Wimbledon. Naomi pulled out from a warm-up event in Berlin and eventually, her team released a statement about her future schedules.

This was the official statement: “Naomi won’t be playing Wimbledon this year. She is taking some personal time with friends and family. She will be ready for the Olympics and is excited to play in front of her home fans.”
