Stefanos Tsitsipas won a great match against Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in the quarterfinal of the French Open. The last point was quite bizarre since Medvedev decided to use and follow at the net an underarm serve when trying to save the match point. The outcome was quite ridiculous since Stefanos had no problems in passing his opponent.

During the press conference that followed the quarterfinal, Stefanos Tsitsipas was asked to comment on that move. Stefanos was very brief but effective in his reply to say that that was a “very millennial shot.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas revealed that he knew that something different was coming since he noticed that Medvedev took a short break before serving.
