Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev are going to play in a finger-licking semi-final at the Roland Garros.

Both players are still chasing their maiden slam. Zverev was extremely close at the last US Open against his dear friend Dominic Thiem when he lost the final at the decisive tie-break after he was in control of the encounter.

In Paris, Stefanos Tsitsipas has just reached the fourth Grand Slam final, the third consecutive one. During the press conference that followed their successful quarterfinals, both Tsitsipas and Zverev agreed that they are not satisfied with reaching the final 4: they want to go for more.

Talking about being in the final 4, Tsitsipas commented:

“I feel privileged that I’m in that position. I feel obviously I’ve put in a lot of daily hard work and that has been a key element of me being here. But my ego tells me I want more.”

“It’s very nice being in the semi-final, but just being here doesn’t satisfy me. I hope I can continue to play the same, maybe even better in the semi-finals,” added Zverev.
