Nalbandian retires from professional tennis

Farewell time for David Nalbandian!

The exciting and controversial Argentine decided to call it a career. The former world no.3 had quite an interesting time on tour. He won 11 ATP titles and he was going in and out the ATP circuit at alternate current. Funny enough, whenever he was back ha was a threat for everybody.

Among his controversial actions, nobody can forget when last year he reached the final at Queens to be disqualified for injuring a lines judge with a rather nasty kick (a big freak accident).

David: I can’t play at professional level

The 31 years old commented “I can play matches, but my shoulder won’t let me continue my career. I can’t play like that at a professional level.

It’s tough because I have to announce my retirement from the sport that gave me so much. I’m very grateful.”

Good luck… he was so much fun!
