Lorenzo Musetti played a fantastic match against Novak Djokovic in the fourth round of the Roland Garros when he conquered the first 2 sets. However, Novak Djokovic is a tennis legend that he is used to finding the solution also when he is not playing that well.

After getting a prolonged toilet break before the third set, Djokovic went back to the court completely regenerated and he crashed Musetti in the following 2 sets.

The Italian looked like he was unable to cope with the Serbian champion and eventually, he withdrew from the match when he was 4-0 down in the 5th.

It seemed as if the nineteen-year-old was not able to move well and there was the sensation that he had issues with his abdomen or groin. However, after the match, the Italian sensation admitted that he was not injured and he thought it was the best things to do to retire since he wasn’t able to win a single point anymore.

“No, no, no, it’s not an injury. It’s, well, just a little bit of cramps and a little bit of low back pain. I was not anymore able to win a point, and so was not really. I am grateful also for the crowd that was there, so I decided to retire.”

Lorenzo will play his next tournament in a couple of weeks in Majorca on grass.
