Serena Williams and Cori Gauff look in fine form and ready to go deep at the French Open

Serena Williams And Coco Gauff (2)

Serena Williams and Cori Gauff were not considered among the top favorites to win the current French Open, but things are changing fast, especially after the early demise of  Naomi Osaka and Ashleigh Barty.

Naomi Osaka withdrew from the tournament after citing mental health, and Ashleigh Barty had to stop playing during the second round since she was struggling with a hip injury.

There have been some other important demises on the women’s side during this Roland Garros with the early exits of Bianca Andreescu, Karolina Pliskova, Petra Kvitova, Belinda Bencic, and Garbine Muguruza. Simona Halep was also not able to play the slam because of a calf injury.

Therefore, after all these early exits, Serena Wiliams and Coco Gauff’s chances to win the French Open are getting more traction. Here the latest odds.
