No time for resting for the upcoming star!
Genie Bouchard has still lots of work to do!. After a wonderful tournament in Tokyo where she lost in the quarters against an in-tune Venus Williams (a 3 hours battle!), Genie had to fly to Beijing to play the qualifications against world no.155 Saisai Zheng.
Genie is still working on her ranking as being world no.46 doesn’t help much in big tournaments as she needs to play the qualifications. Fortunately after Tokyo she is expected to break into the top 40 to give more chances to directly access the main draw.
