Novak Djokovic is more and more at the top of he world.
The Serb won his 39th consecutive match (7 matches shy from 1977 Vilas record), he won his 7th stright tournament and he beated again the king of clay in a back to back final.
So… life is good for him!
Althought the match ended in straight sets (6-4 6-4) it was a tough one and lasted more then 2 hours.
At the end, Djokovic decleared that it was his finest performance of the last 4 finals with Nadal and the Spaniard said: ‘I am not disappointed with my performance, my level. He is doing amazing things. He is very tough mentally and physically, every week. He played very well but this week was very positive for me. I finished better than I started, which is not what happened in Madrid.’
