Stefanos Tsitsipas is living the dream. At 22 years of age, Tsitsipas is one of the strongest tennis players in the world, and many believe that he will be the next one.

Stefanos has recently stated that the beginning of his fantastic career has been quite tumultuous with him and his family often struggling with money.

However, things got the right turn and now Stefanos Tsitsipas and his family are not struggling anymore from a financial point of view. The world number 5 revealed that it seems almost magical to see how his carrier quickly developed thanks to the help of his family. He also talked about the sacrifices of his father, mother and the support of his extended family.

He commented:

“It has kind of escalated pretty quickly and it has evolved into this great magical thing that it is now. I put a lot of sacrifices, and all of my family has done a tremendous job of putting things together.”

Tsitsipas is about to commence his run at the upcoming French Open, where he is considered the favorite after Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Stefanos received a great draw since he fell on the lower part where there is the notable absence of the Big3 that are all stuck in the top part of the draw.

Now ranked no.5 (career-high), Stefanos played his last match on the 23rd of May when he defeated world no.45 Cameron Norrie 6-3 6-3 in the final in Lyon to win his 7th career title.

Currently, during this season Stefanos has a 33-8 record. Tsitsipas has won 2 titles in 2021 in Monte-Carlo and in Lyon. The Greek was the finalist in Acapulco and in Barcelona.
