Good news for the Brazilian tennis as Rafael Nadal has accepted to play in Rio next February.
This is a huge thing for the organizer as they will have the greatest clay court tennis player in history and most probably the world no1 as Rafa will be expected to lead Nole by that time… by far.
The tournament will take place between the 15 and he 23rd of February.
Rafa: I can feel the love of the Brazilian people
Rafa seems quite excited by his participation to comment “I am looking forward to playing for the first time ever in Rio de Janeiro. I have heard so much about the city, and now I will finally have the opportunity to be there. All around the world, when I play, I can feel the love of the Brazilian people.”
Rafa will be also joined by fellow Spaniard and friend David Ferrer.
