Serena Williams is now in Parma, where she is playing the local WTA250 event. Serena was asked to express her opinion about Roger Federer since the Swiss sensation is coming back to competitions this week in Geneva.

When asked to comment about Federer’s legacy, Serena answered:

“I think two words sum it up: Roger Federer. He’s just a synopsis of greatness and class and amazing and really changed the game. You see players playing like him, moving like him, doing his techniques. The guy is genius.”

The GOAT debate

There is an ongoing debate about who is the greatest between Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Roger Federer. Serena has no doubts about choosing her favorite to say:

I just feel like he is really the greatest player. Just look at him. You can’t not like the guy, that’s how I feel. His game is so fantastic. If I could only play like him!”

Serena and Roger played against each other at the Hopman Cup back in 2019.
