Bianca Andreescu, Iga Swiatek, Cori Gauff, and Amanda Anisimova are the top under21 in the WTA rankings after the recent tournament in Rome.

Bianca Andreescu could not compete in Italy because she had to deal with some complications for testing positive for the coronavirus 2 weeks before the tournament. Still, the Canadian sensation is the top player that is aged under 21 in the WTA rankings.

Iga Swiatek had a fantastic run in Rome, where she won the title after beating Karolina Pliskova 6-0 6-0 in the final. After this incredible achievement, the French Open champion goes 6 places up in the rankings to break in the top 10 and be the new world number 9 (career-high).

Coco Gauff also had a great run in Rome, where she reached the semi-final to go 5 places up in the rankings to be the new world number 30, which is also a career-high rank.

Amanda Anisimova lost in the second round in Rome at the hands of Elina Svitolina. The American lost one place in the rankings to be the new world number 40.

Iga Swiatek in 2021

Currently ranked no.9 (career-high), Swiatek played her last match on the 16th of May when she defeated world no.10 Karolina Pliskova 6-0 6-0 in the final in Rome to win her 3rd

career title.

This season Iga has managed to achieve a composed 19-5 record. Swiatek has won 2 titles in 2021 in Adelaide and in Rome.
