SHOCKING. Andreescu withdraws from Rome not happy with the Italian government

Bianca Andreescu suffers from another big blow after making the decision not to play the WTA1000 in Rome. The Canadian sensation had to skip the Madrid Open because she tested positive for Coronavirus. However, she was excited to play in the upcoming tournament in Rome, where she was seeded number 6. That will not happen since Bianca decided to withdraw, explaining her decision with the following message on social media:

“Although I have tested negative following my isolation period in Madrid and having been back in full training the last few days, the Italian Government rules put me at risk of being isolated again if I travel to Italy, so unfortunately I have to withdraw from the Italian Open this year.”

Bianca posted this statement alongside a video showing off that to her physical condition is good.

In theory, Bianca is scheduled to play in Parma next week before competing in Strasburg. Obviously, this scheduling has to be revised. This is just 1 of the last blows that Bianca Andreescu had to face in the last couple of years. The Canadian number 1 is quite prone to injuries and she has been sidelined for long because of her physical conditions and the coronavirus pandemic. Her last match was played in the final in Miami when she had to withdraw after rolling her ankle

Bianca has finally managed to find a good condition, but she was stopped for being infected by the virus this time.
