Na Li and David Ferrer win the US Open Sportsmanship Award

Na Li and David Ferrer are two wonderful competitors in the tennis arena.

They couldn’t win the US Open, but they have still received a very nice award from the Flushing Meadows organisation.

Ferrer

Seeded no.4, David lost to Richard Gasquet in the quarters.  The Award was handed by the USTA CEO and Chairman Dave Haggerty  that commented “As relentless a competitor as David is on the court, he is just as respectful toward the game and his opponents. David personifies what the US Open Sportsmanship Award represents and certainly deserves the recognition.”

Na Li

Also this time the Award was handed by Dave Haggerty that commented “As one of the most successful and respected players on tour, Li Na embodies what a champion truly is.
