The world number 2 was named Laureus Sportswoman of the Year for 2021. Naomi Osaka has recently admitted that eight-time Olympic Gold medalist Usain Bolt is her favorite athlete. The Jamaican didn’t miss the chance to congratulate Naomi for her award to say:
“You are such a great role model for all the athletes and you show the woman athletes around the world what hard work and dedication can do.”

Naomi Osaka has recently ended her campaign at the Madrid Open where she lost as early as in the second round. The Japanese sensation will play her next match in Rome before trying to win her third consecutive Slam at the French Open.
