Bianca Andreescu, Veronika Kudermetova and Cori Gauff are part of the entry list of the WTA 250 that will be staged in Strasburg from the 24th of May.
Last year, the tournament took place in September instead of May because of the global pandemic. The champion was Elina Svitolina that is not part of the entry list this year.
It’s interesting to see the presence of Bianca Andreescu, who had to skip the current WTA 1000 in Madrid since she got infected by the Coronavirus.

Ranked no.6, Andreescu played her last match on the 3rd of April when she had to retire when playing against world no.1 Ashleigh Barty in the final and the scoreline was 6-3 4-0 .
Currently, during this year Andreescu has a 9-3 match record. Bianca Vanessa Andreescu’s latest run in Miami was the best achievement of her season.
Veronika Kudermetova in 2021
Now ranked no.28 (career-high), Veronika played her last match on the 24th of April when she surrendered to world no.16 Elise Mertens 6-1 6-4 in the semifinal in Istanbul (draw).
Until now, during this year the Russian has achieved a composed 20-9 record. Kudermetova clinched 1 title in Charleston. Veronika got to the final in Abu Dhabi.

Cori Gauff in 2021
Currently ranked no.35 (career-high), Gauff played her last match on the 9th of April when she was overcome by world no.25 Ons Jabeur 6-3 6-3 in the quarter in Charleston (draw).
At present, during this year the American has a 14-7 match record. Cori Gauff’s most significant result of the current season was getting to the semifinal in Adelaide.
