Bernard Tomic’s father will be banned also from the US Open

It’s a tough life for Bernard Tomic’s father that has been banned by the ATP and he has been clearly targeted by many tournaments. Earlier in the year John Tomic was banned also as a spectator from the French Open and Wimbledon, and now it’s time for the US Open to follow.

This happened after Bernard’s father attacked his son’s sparring partner in Madrid to violently break his nose.

Banned from the US Open

The USTA announced that “We opted not to credential him. Our desire is to make it as difficult as possible for him to gain entry to the US Open.”

“Our gate personnel that scan tickets will have been informed that he’s an unwanted guest. It would be within our right to escort him off the grounds. However, we have not determined what our exact policy will be at this time.”
