Stefanos Tsitsipas didn’t manage to conquer his first ATP 500 after Nadal saved a championship point against him in the final. However, the Greek sensation is getting closer to Dominic Thiem. The world number 4 is only 385 points ahead of Stefanos.

Ranked world no.2, Rafael played his last match on the 25th of April when he overcame world no.5 Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-4 6-7(6) 7-5 in the final in Barcelona to win his 87th career title.
