During the week before the US Open there is always a lot of craze around the most prestigious tennis players. You often see Sharapova going everywhere selling her candies, Roger Federer collecting millions of rewards and Serena Williams getting around from a fashion show to another.
This time the media couldn’t miss the defending champion Andy Murray that was invited at the CBS This Morning.
Murray: It’s not important to become a world no.1
Funny enough Andy said he doesn’t really care of becoming a world no.1 to comment” The grand slams are the biggest events and they’re the ones that I prepare hard for, they’re the tournaments that I want to win. Not trying to get to number one.”
That’s a statement (!)… but we are sure that if he becomes a world no.1 he won’t be unhappy!
