We had only one seed falling on Wednesday, but that was the “biggest one” as Sara Errani lost to Ekaterina Makarova 7-5 6-1. Match stats.

Petra won another difficult match against another low ranked opponent as it took 2 hours and 15 minutes for Petra to defeat world no.95 Alison Riske.  “After dropping the second set, it was quite tough to come back in the third. But I’m glad for it, I’m sure,” commented Kvitova.
