Federer feels confident for a good US Open

Roger Federer is not depressed by his recent results. The Maestro has slipped to an uncharacteristic world no.7 after a not so good year when he has lost to numerous low ranked opponents.

The Swiss is feeling that his best tennis is coming back and he definitely wants to give a shot to win his 6 US Open and 18th slam.

Federer: I feel good and confident…

During his appearance at the Moet & Chandon event where they were celebrating the 270th year of the famous brand roger declared “One thing’s for sure, I‘ll give everything I have. As usual, I’m excited to be back in New York and I hope it is going to be a good trip for me. I feel good, I feel confident, so we’ll see how it goes.”

…and the family

Then Roger added something nice about his private life to say “Clearly family is the most important thing in life,

My wife has been incredibly supportive throughout and she’s always the backbone. It’s been great with her, and the family is here too. We’re all very happy to be back in New York and enjoying our time, not just on the court, but clearly also away from it.

But I am very focused on making sure I do well on the tennis court first. I’ve had enough vacation this year, I need to make sure I practise and get back to the old form again.”

The Maestro is set for a good US Open… let’s see now if he can deliver.
