Linda Fruhvirtova is an extremely exciting upcoming player that only at 15 years of age, is already hitting the headlines for her run in Charleston. Here a bio about Linda and her background.

Bio and family

Linda is a Czech tennis player that was born on the 1st of May 2005. She is 1.72 tall, and she has a younger sister, Brenda, that is also extremely talented and a great prospect in women’s tennis. Linda’s parents left their business career as interior designers to fully focus on the development of their daughters that are coached by Pavel Šnobel.

Linda’s father Hynek is happy about the healthy competition between Linda and her sister Brenda that is 2 years younger.  Once he commented: “They had some intense battles growing up. The younger one always wants to beat the older one, who never wants to lose.”

Linda and Brenda may push each other as Serena and Venus Williams did especially in the early days of their careers. Linda is often followed on tour by either her mother or father.

Linda and Brenda are occasionally training occasionally near Nice at the renowned Mouratoglou Academy, owned and managed by Serena Williams’s coach. Brenda had the opportunity of playing the UTS last summer at the Academy.

About a boyfriend

Linda is not reported to have any boyfriend. At her age and with her potential she may need to be fully focused o developing her fantastic tennis.

 

Fruhvirtova in Charleston, ranking, and results in 2021

Currently the world no.499 (career-high), Fruhvirtova achieved a compiled 15-2 match record in 2021. Linda is now having a run in Charleston where she defeated Alize Cornet 6-2 6-77 4-4 ret.. before beating Emma Navarro 6-4 6-2.

Linda Fruhvirtova will come up against the world no.165 Astra Sharma in the quarter. They have never played each other as of now in top tournaments.

Fruhvirtova conquered 2 titles in 2021 Monastir and Monastir. The Czech was the runner-up in the W25 Hamburg.
