Eugenie Bouchard is currently taking a break after playing two tournaments in Mexico. The Canadian beauty reached the final in Guadalajara before losing in the first round in Monterrey. However, Genie is now taking a little break before heading to Turkey, where she will play the qualifications to access the main draw in Istanbul.

Now ranked no.119, Eugenie played her last match on the 16th of March when she lost to world no.100 Lin Zhu 7-5 7-6(3) in the 1st round in Monterrey (draw).
At present, during this year the Canadian achieved a compiled 5-4 match record. Eugenie Bouchard’s most significant accomplishment of this year was reaching the final in Guadalajara.
