In the first round, Jannik demolished Albert Ramos Vinolas with a straightforward 6-3 6-4 scoreline. The young Italian was always in control of the match, often overpowering his opponent with his potent shots from the baseline.

Novak Djokovic hasn’t played any match in Monte Carlo so far since he was granted a bye for the second round for being seeded number 1.During a recent interview, the Serbian sensation admitted that he was stunned by Jannik Sinner’s progress. Novak and Jannik have never played each other on the main tour so far. However, they have trained together a lot at the Piatti’s Academy. Recently, Novak and Jannik played in an exhibition in Adelaide when the world number won 1 set by 6-3.
