Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev may very well clash in the semi-final in Monte Carlo. Nevertheless, they decided to practice together to get ready for the tournament.
Rafael Nadal is the favorite to win this ATP 1000 in Monte Carlo, but because of his ranking, he is only seeded no.3. On the other side, Daniil Medvedev is the seed number 2 even if he is not the favorite to win the tournament in the Principality.
Medvedev has recently revealed that she doesn’t like at all playing on clay courts. The Russian champion has never won a single match at the French Open, but in 2019 he reached the semi-final in Monte Carlo and the final in Barcelona.
In his first match in Monte Carlo, Nadal will play the winner between Federico Delbonis and Adrian Mannarino. Medvedev will be opposed against the winner between Filip Krajinovic and Nikoloz Basilashvili.
