Eugenie Bouchard took one month off after losing in the first round in Monterrey. The Canadian beauty is currently in Los Angeles, where she is enjoying the local surroundings. She is expected to fly to Turkey next week in order to play the qualifications for the main draw of the local tournament.

Ranked world no.119, the Canadian played her last match on the 16th of March when she was overcome by world no.100 Lin Zhu 7-5 7-6(3) in the 1st round in Monterrey (draw).
Currently, during this year Eugenie has achieved a 5-4 match record. Eugenie Bouchard’s best result of the current year was getting to the final in Guadalajara.
