Stefanos Tsitsipas decided once again to play doubles with his brother Petros in the ATP in Monte Carlo where they received a wild card for the main draw. The decision to play doubles is quite controversial since Stefanos looked quite tired in previous tournaments when having deep runs in singles and doubles. That is what happened in Rotterdam, where he had to play doubles with his brother Petros after winning an epic match against Karen Khachanov.
Eventually, Stefanos ended up losing the semi-final the day after against Andrey Rublev. The word the number 5 appeared to be extremely tired during that match.
Stefanos and his brother Petros will play on Monday at 11 a.m. on court 11. They will face the seeds number 8, Kevin Krawietz and Horia Tecau. In singles, Stefanos had a bye and therefore, he will start his run from the second round. He will clash against either Lorenzo Musetti or Aslan Karatsev.
