The American is the absolute dominator of the WTA circuit. Serena has now opened a +3000 points with Victoria Azarenka. Unreachable.

Sorana is now ranked world no.21 (career high). The Romanian beauty is having a very good stint to reach good results in the last 3 tournaments (the semis in Stanford, the quarters in Washington and the final in Toronto). The 23 years old has definitely the potential to break into the top 10.
Rybarikova
The Slovakian had a wonderful fortnight. After winning the Citi Open in Washington last week, she has now reached the quarters in Toronto where she lost in the quarters to Serena. This week’s result helped her to get to the 33rd spo in the rankings (career high).
Kvitova
That’s a tough life for Petra! The Czech is struggling to find some good results. Losing to Sorana Cirstea in the quarters in Toronto meant she lost another couple of places in the rankings. Now she is world no.9
