
Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner may clash in a finger-licking second round in Monte Carlo this year. Novak Djokovic is seeded number one and he is the favorite number two to win the competition in the Principality after Rafael Nadal. However, Jannik is most probably the most interesting upcoming player on the ATP Tour. Ranked the number 24, Jannik has just reached the final at the Miami Open.
Jannik Sinner also showed that he can bother anyone on clay. Last year, he lost to Rafael Nadal in the quarter-finals at the French Open in three sets. Nevertheless, the young Italian was leading the King of Clay by one break in both the first and the second set.

Now ranked no.1, Djokovic played his last match on the 21st of February when he beat world no.2 Daniil Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 82nd career title.
