Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic will probably clash as early as in the second round in Monte Carlo. Jannik is only ranked the number 23 and therefore, he is not seeded in this tournament. The consequence is that Jannik is a dangerous floater.

Jannik Sinner will face Albert Ramos Vinolas in the first round and then if he wins the match, the young Italian will clash with Novak Djokovic. Novak Djokovic in 2021

Now the world no.1, the Serbian played his last match on the 21st of February when he defeated world no.2 Daniil Medvedev 7-5 6-2 6-2 in the final of the Australian Open to win his 82nd career title.

Until now, during this year the Serbian has an overall 9-0 record. Novak conquered 1 title at the Australian Open.
