Cori Gauff had a rather interesting experience in Charleston when she got stuck in an elevator for 45 minutes. The new American sensation decided to spend the time in the best possible way and therefore, she recorded a video of her dancing in the elevator.
Eventually, that video recorded half a million views and counting on Tik Tok. When talking to the Tennis Channel, Coco Gauff explain what happened:
“I stretched at the hotel, and then I went up to go to my room, and then I heard the elevator shake, and I automatically knew this was finally my time to be stuck.
The guy on the help button said, ‘I can send a mechanic in an hour, and I was like no.
So I was just dancing and listening to music while I was waiting for somebody to hear me,” Gauff revealed.
“My TikTok got over 500,000 views, so it was worth it. Get stuck in an elevator, record a TikTok if you want to go viral,” said Coco, entertained by what has happened.
