Mad Max Gulbis is back in style!
The Latvian left just 7 games to the Wimbledon Champion to make it clear (once again) that he can beat just anybody.
Before this match Ernest lost all 5 encounters with Andy Murray, but 4 of them were tough encounters. Now it was Gulbis’ time.
To be fair both players were a bit struggling with their timing, but finally it was the Latvian to get it right after1 hour and 28 minutes. Murray was particularly weak on his 2nd serve to win only 5 points out of 15. Match Stats.

A super happy Gulbis said “Better keep your expectations low, enjoy the moment. Be okay, be satisfied. But you have to keep on going. That’s where young players make a lot of mistakes.
