Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, Thiem all confirmed to play the Madrid Open

Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Dominic Thiem are all confirmed to play the Madrid Open that will be staged from the 3rd of May. This is great news because there were some reports that Novak Djokovic pulled out of the tournament in Spain. It’s great to see that Roger Federer will be back to play on clay in Madrid, the tournament where he has the best chances to go deep because of the fast conditions.

The defending Champion is Novak Djokovic that in 2019 defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final. The Madrid Open was not staged in 2020 because of the global pandemic.
