Sad Nadal looking forward for the vaccine to be fully deployed

Nadal hopes that with the vaccine things will become normal as soon as possible

Rafael Nadal loves competing in huge battles with the presence of the adoring crowd. Unfortunately, this has not been really happening since the global pandemic shocked the world more than one year ago. Quite often, tournaments are not allowed to have fans attending. Sometimes there is the opportunity to have spectators, but usually not many are allowed on the premises to observe social distancing.

In addition, this pandemic is preventing many players from traveling with their families and full teams. This makes things extremely difficult since many professional players are used to travel 40 weeks per year.

During a recent interview, Rafael Nadal expressed his wish for a complete rollout of the vaccines so as to stabilize the overall situation.

The King of Clay commented:

It’s sad to play without that extra energy. It’s strange, especially for us older players who used to travel with family and many other people.

Let’s hope that thanks to vaccines there will be a normal situation again.”

Nadal is currently in Mallorca fine-tuning his preparation for the clay-court season that will commence for him next week in Monte Carlo. Rafa has already won 11 titles in the Principality and this year he is definitely going for more. However, no fans will be allowed to be at the premises in Monaco. That’s the sad reality right now.
