Jannik Sinner had a fantastic fortnight in Miami, where he reached the final before losing to Hubert Hurkacz. While it is outstanding for a 19 years old to reach such a prestigious final, Jannik was not happy with the outcome.

Sinner commented:

“I think it has been a good week anyway. But, you know, obviously, I’m not here for making finals, you know. I’m here to win tournaments. Today was not my day. Accept that. But, you know, it’s going back to work and then we will see what I can do on the clay.”

Jannik will be back in Monte Carlo, where he will be ready for the local ATP 1000 that will be staged without fans. His intention will not be to make the final but win the tournament.
