Nole and Jerxzy are the two big names of the day to play in Montreal.

Nole is the defending champion and is now entering a very delicate moment to try to defend his 1st rank against Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray.
In his first match Nole will play Florian Mayer (5-7 6-3 6-3 on Tomic). The world no.1 has a good 5-0 record against the German (now ranked 50), but Florian is not new to produce big upsets with his unorthodox tennis. (Remember when he defeated Nadal in Shanghai 2011?)
Janowicz
This is the first the most important appearance from Jerzy since reaching the semifinal in Wimbledon where he lost in 4 sets to Andy Murray. Jerzy knows he can win with just everybody and he I trying to make the final leap in the top 10 (now he is ranked no.18).
The Pole is on a collision path with Rafael Nadal, but before he has to beat tough players such as the unpredictable Julien Benneteau now in the first round. Head to head is 1-0 for Jerzy… but he can’t trust the Frenchman. He is another guy that can beat just anybody. (The guy has already beaten Rafa and Roger…).
